Hello!

My name is Chloe Belle Marquez, it is nice to meet you!

I got my very first sewing machine as a gift when I was around 7 years old. It was a kid’s machine from Costco, Hello Kitty themed with a glittery plastic case around the needle. It was then that I began to find joy in the wonders of sewing.

Unfortunately, my time spent towards the arts had been replaced by time devoted to studying medicine and general science. I had attended medical magnet schools and spent thousands on intensive programs, only to later realize that my heart belonged to designing and being a part of the performing arts scene.

Starting college was the best thing that happened to me, because that is where I gathered the courage to click “Change Major,” and I selected Theater with a focus on Costume Design. Fast forward to the end of my first year, and I designed costumes for a student production called Generation Why? Seeing those designs come to life filled me with this intense satisfaction and pride, and I have been chasing that passion ever since.

I hope to continue nourishing my newfound passion, and hopefully spark someone else’s.
